1937 Born in the city of Rawanduz, Erbil Governorate, northern Iraq.
1943-1954 Completed his elementary, middle, and high school studies.
1954-1957 Studied painting and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, Iraq.
1957-1961 Taught the art of drawing in the schools of Erbil.
1961-1967 Traveled to the Soviet Union, studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Moscow, graduated with a master's degree, and held three solo exhibitions in the Soviet Union during his stay there.
1968 Appointed as an inspector for art education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a short period.
1971 Held his 4th solo exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad, and participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition in cooperation with the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in Kuwait.
1972 Participated in the 1st Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad and the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1974 Participated in the 1st Arab Biennial in Baghdad and the Cultural Festival of Al-Thawra Newspaper, Baghdad.
1976 Held his 5th solo exhibition at the hall of the Kurdish Culture Association, Baghdad.
1977 Held his 6th solo exhibition in Erbil.
1979 Held his 7th solo exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad, where he displayed 30 works.
1981 Held his 8th solo exhibition entitled ‘Impressions of the World - Selections from the Artist's Paintings (1961-1981)’ in Al-Riwaq Hall in Baghdad, in which 50 works were displayed.
1984 Held his 9th solo exhibition entitled ‘Selections from the Artist's Paintings (1961-1984)’ at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad and participated in the Spring Exhibition at Al-Orfali Hall, Baghdad.
1986 Participated in the Baghdad International Festival for Fine Arts at the Arts Center, Baghdad.
1989 Held his 10th solo exhibition, entitled ‘Symphony of the Mountain’, at Al-Riwaq Hall in Baghdad and displayed about 150 works.
He wrote a book in Arabic entitled ‘The Art of Planning’, and it was translated into the Kurdish language. He translated several books from the Russian language into the Kurdish language, including: ‘Michelangelo’, ‘Paul Gauguin’, and ‘Delacroix’.
2004 Founded the College of Fine Arts in Erbil and obtained a PhD with distinction in philosophy of art from the University of Salahaddin in Erbil.
He worked as a painting teacher at the Institute of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad, and the University of Salahaddin in Erbil.
2009 Participated in an exhibition entitled ‘Iraqi Artists’ in Amman.
He participated in most of the annual exhibitions of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association and most art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq till he passed away.
17 October 2009 Passed away in Erbil at the age of seventy-two.

- 1972 اشترك في مهرجان الواسطي الأول في بغداد ومعرض الفن العراقي المعاصر على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.

- 1974 اشترك في معرض السنتين العربي الأول في بغداد والمهرجان الثقافي لجريدة الثورة في بغداد.

- 1976 أقام معرضه الشخصي الخامس على قاعة جمعية الثقافة الكردية في بغداد.

- 1977 أقام معرضه الشخصي السادس في أربيل.

- 1979 أقام معرضه الشخصي السابع على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد وعرض فيه 30 عملاً.

- 1981 أقام معرضه الشخصي الثامن بعنوان "انطباعات عن العالم - مختارات من لوحات الفنان (1961 - 1981)" على قاعة الرواق في بغداد وعرض فيه 50 عملاً.

- 1984 أقام معرضه الشخصي التاسع بعنوان " مختارات من لوحات الفنان (1961 - 1984)" على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد واشترك في معرض الربيع على قاعة الأورفلي في بغداد.

- 1986 اشترك في مهرجان بغداد العالمي للفن التشكيلي في مركز الفنون في بغداد.

- 1989 أقام معرضه الشخصي العاشر بعنوان "سيمفونية الجبل" على قاعة الرواق في بغداد وعرض فيه ما يقارب الـ 150 عملاً.

- ألّف كتاب باللغة العربية بعنوان "فن التخطيط" وتم ترجمته إلى اللغة الكردية وتَرجم عدة كتب من اللغة الروسية إلى اللغة الكردية منهم: كتاب "مايكل انجلوا" وكتاب "بول كوكان" وكتاب "ديلا كروا".

- 2004 أسس كلية الفنون الجميلة في مدينة أربيل وحاز على دكتوراه من جامعة صلاح الدين في أربيل في فلسفة الفن بدرجة امتياز.

- عَمل مدرّساً لفن الرسم في كل من معهد الفنون الجميلة وأكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في بغداد وجامعة صلاح الدين في أربيل.

- 2009 اشترك في معرض بعنوان "تشكيليون عراقيون" في عمّان.

- اشترك في أغلب المعارض السنوية لجمعية التشكيليين العراقيين وفي العديد من المعارض الفنية داخل وخارج العراق.

- 17 أكتوبر 2009 توفي الفنان في أربيل عن عمر يناهز اثنين وسبعين عاماً.
