Nuha al-Radi talked about her first book, Baghdad Diaries: A Woman’s Chronicle of War and Exile, published by Vintage. The book originated from the author’s diary entries she began during the first Gulf War in 1991 while she was a resident in Baghdad. It depicted life for Iraqi citizens during that time as well as an account of her subsequent travels to Amman and Beirut. She also responded to questions from the audience.
