- 1939 Born in the city of Amara, Maysan, Iraq.
- 1946 The artist's talent emerged when he began collecting beach mud, drying it, and making sculptures from it, while residing in Qalaat Salih.
- He worked for many years in gold and silversmithing, mastering it with great skill and proficiency in drawing and engraving. This encouraged him to apply to the Institute of Fine Arts, where he passed the entrance exam and was signed by the artist Faik Hassan.

- Through his outstanding performance, he was able to emphasize his energies, talents, and ability to listen sensitively to human concerns in a rapidly changing world.
- He traveled with his family to Australia.
- 2012 Won an award at the Liverpool Annual Exhibition.
- 2015 Won 2nd prize in an exhibition organized by the Fairfield Society of Australian Fine Artists and the Marconi Club, with the participation of several Iraqi artists, for his painting ‘Enkidu and the Woman’.
- He participated in most of the exhibitions of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association held in Baghdad.
