1932 Born in Baghdad, Iraq.
1956 Participated in the Art Exhibition at the Mansour Club in Baghdad while he was a student in the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1957 Studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1961 Traveled to England on a scholarship to study sculpture and casting at the Chelsea College of Arts and then at the Central School of Art and Design, London. For a year and a half, he worked as a technical assistant at the Fiorini and Carney workshops on casting bronze statues.
1964 Participated in the exhibition of the Royal Academy in London and the exhibition of the Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education.
1965 Practiced bronze casting at the Central College of Art and Design in London (1896-1989). Then, in the same year, he completed his studies in the art of carving and woodcarving at the Stockwell and Waterloo Center in England. He participated in the Royal Academy Gallery in London and the Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education, and he completed his fellowship.
1966 Participated in the exhibition of the Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education, the exhibition of the British Artists Association, the Exhibition of Free Directions in Modern Art, and the International Amateur Exhibition in London. After his return to Baghdad, he participated in the exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in Baghdad and held a solo exhibition in the Aya Gallery in Baghdad.
1967 Participated in the exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in Baghdad. He began, alongside the pioneers of sculpture, by establishing the sculpture branch at the Academy of Fine Arts and was among the teaching staff and distinguished sculpture professors known for their experience and creativity.
1968 Held a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1969 Held his solo exhibition in the hall of the Iraqi Red Cross Society, in the Women's Branch, on 30 October, where he presented more than 200 sculptural art pieces in his modernist style, in which Iraqi folklore inspired him with different materials from cut tin, different types of stones, silver and ornaments.
1971 Held a solo exhibition at the hall of the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1973 Participated in the 15th exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association at the Association’s Hall in Baghdad.
1974 Participated in the Cultural Festival of Al-Thawra Newspaper in Baghdad and participated in the 1st April Art Exhibition at the Art Academy Hall in Baghdad.
1976 Participated in the 3rd April Art Exhibition at the hall of the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1980 Participated in the 7th April Art Exhibition at the hall of the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1981 Held a solo exhibition in Al-Riwaq Hall, from which 3 works were allocated to be displayed in the Baghdad International Fair (1988 Baghdad Biennial). In the same year, he participated in the group exhibition "Exhibition of Contemporary Sculpture in Rome," alongside works by Jewad Selim, Ismail Fattah, Kalid Al-Rahhal, Ali Al-Jaberi, Mohammed Ghani Hikmat, and others.
21 October 2005 Passed away at the age of seventy-three.
He avoided the media and did not like to appear, despite his artistic and academic activities that left a significant imprint on the history of Iraqi sculpture.
2016 Some of his works were exhibited at the Iraqi Painters Exhibition, organized by the Iraqi Fine Artists Association in cooperation with the Lebanese Artists Association for Painting and Sculpture in Beirut.

- 1956 اشترك في معرض الرسم والنحت في نادي المنصور في بغداد.

- 1957 درس وتخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد.

- 1961 سافر إلى إنكلترا في بعثة لدراسة فن النحت والصب في "مدرسة تشلسي للفنون" وبعدها في "المدرسة المركزية للفنون". وعَمِل كمساعد فني في معمل فيوريني وكارني لصب التماثيل البرونزية لمدة عام ونصف.

- 1964 اشترك في معرض "الأكاديمية الملكية في لندن"، ومعرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن" بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية.

- 1965 صبَّ البرونز في الكلية المركزية للفنون والتصميم في لندن (1896-1989). ثم في نفس العام أكمل متطلبات دراسته في فن النحت والحفر على الخشب في مركز ستوكول وواترلو في إنكلترا، واشترك في معرض الأكاديمية الملكية في لندن، ومعرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن"، بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية. وأنهى بعثته العلمية بنجاح.

- 1966 اشترك في معرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن" بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية ومعرض جمعية الفنانين الإنكليز ومعرض الاتجاهات الحرة في الفن الحديث ومعرض الهواة العالمي في لندن واشترك بعد رجوعه إلى بغداد في معرض جمعية الفنانين العراقيين في بغداد وأقام معرض شخصي في كاليري آيا في بغداد.

- 1967 اشترك في معرض جمعية الفنانين العراقيين في بغداد. وبدأ مع رواد النحت بتأسيس فرع النحت في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة وكان ضمن الهيئة التدريسية ومن أساتذة النحت المميزين والمعروفين بعمق خبراتهم وإبداعاتهم.

- 1968 أقام معرض شخصي في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.

- 1969 أقام معرضه الشخصي في قاعة جميعة الهلال الأحمر العراقية الفرع النسوي في 30. تشرين الأول حيث قدم أكثر من مئتي قطعة نحتية فنية بأسلوبه الحداثي، والتي استلهم فيها الموروث الشعبي العراقي بمواد مختلفة من الصفيح المقطع وأنواع الأحجار والفضة والحلي.

- 1971 أقام معرض شخصي على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.

- 1973 اشترك في معرض جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين الخامس عشر على قاعة الجمعية في بغداد.

- 1974 اشترك في المهرجان الثقافي لجريدة الثورة في بغداد واشترك في معرض نيسان الأول على قاعة أكاديمية الفنون في بغداد.

- 1976 اشترك في معرض نيسان الثالث على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.

- 1980 اشترك في معرض نيسان السابع على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.

- 1981 أقام معرض شخصي في قاعة الرواق حيث خصصت منه ثلاثة أعمال لتُعرض في معرض بغداد الدولي (بينالي بغداد 1988). وفي نفس العام اشترك في معرض جماعي "معرض النحت المعاصر في روما" مع أعمال لِجواد سليم وإسماعيل فتاح وخالد الرحال وعلي الجابري ومحمد غني حكمت وغيرهم.

- 21 أكتوبر 2005 توفي عن عمر يناهز ثلاثة وسبعين عاماً.

- كان يتجنب الإعلام ولا يحب الظهور على الرغم من نشاطاته الفنية والأكاديمية التي تركت بصمة مهمة في تاريخ النحت العراقي.

- 2016 عُرضت بعض من أعماله في معرض رسامون عراقيون لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين وبالتعاون مع جمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين للرسم والنحت في بيروت.

- عضو في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين.
