  • 1935 Born in Baghdad, Iraq.
  • 1959 Graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, majoring in ceramic art.
  • 1960 Taught ceramic art at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad.
  • 1961 Got a scholarship to study ceramic art in England.
  • 1963 Graduated from the Central School of Art and Design in England, and after his graduation, he worked as a teacher in the same school and also at Harrow School of Arts for two years.
  • 1964 Participated in the P.O.P Art Gallery in Holborn in London, the Young Ceramic Exhibition at the Craft Center in London, and the British Ceramic Exhibition in Copenhagen, Tokyo, and Munich. Awarded one of the best three young ceramists in Britain by the Higher Committee for ‘British Cultural Week’ in Denmark.
  • 1965 Participated in the exhibition of the British Ceramic Group in Sydney, Australia, and the Terracotta and Walls exhibition at the Gable Hall in London.
  • 1966 Returned to Iraq and taught the art of ceramics at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad for thirty-five years, and developed Ceramic art in Iraq. He was with the sculptor Ismail Fattah, who taught at the Academy as well.

    - 1959 تخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد وتخصص في فن السيراميك.

    - 1960 درّس فن السيراميك في معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد.

    - 1964 اشترك في معرض P.O.P الفني في هولبورن في لندن ومعرض الشباب للخزف في المركز الحرفي في لندن ومعرض الخزف البريطاني في كل من كوبنهاغن وطوكيو وميونيخ. حاز على جائزة واحد من أفضل ثلاثة فنانين خزف في بريطانيا من قِبل اللجنة العليا لـ "الأسبوع الثقافي البريطاني في الدنمارك".
