- 2003 He left Iraq and traveled to the USA to live there.

- 2008 Held a Solo Exhibition at the United Nations building, New York, USA.
- 2011 Held a Solo Exhibition entitled "Young Christian Women".
- 2014 Participated in an exhibition of immigrants in Texas, USA, and won the AQD Prize for Literature, Art, and Peace.
- July 28, 2014 Passed away at fifty-nine from a brain hemorrhage after undergoing surgery in a hospital in Dallas, Texas, USA, and his body was transported for burial in Iraq.
