It’s from the artist's collection and is one of the oldest paintings in our collection. The artist painted this artwork in 1918 in Turkey and named it “Altın Köy,” which stands for “The Village of Gold,” as he titled it behind the painting. It is a village located in the Asian part of Turkey near Ankara.
من مجموعة الفنّان الخاصة، وهي من أقدم اللوحات التي لدينا في المجموعة الفنّية، حيث أنّ الفنّان قد رسم هذه اللوحة في عام 1918 في تركيا وأسماها قرية الذهب (Altın Köy) كما مُؤرَّخ خلف اللوحة. وهي قرية تقع في الجزء الآسيوي في وسط تركيا قرب العاصمة أنقرة.
