March 7, 1962 Artist Mohammed Al-Shammary was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1969 - 1979 He completed his primary, middle and secondary school studies in Baghdad.

2010 He held a solo exhibition entitled "A Song of Rain" at the Juniata College Museum of Art in Pennsylvania, USA and at the FA Gallery in Kuwait, and a solo exhibition with Simeen Farhat entitled "A Word, Object, Movement" was held at Anya Tish Gallery in Texas, USA.
2013 He held a solo exhibition with Simeen Farhat at ArtSpace Hall in Dubai, UAE.
2014 Participated in an exhibition entitled "Collective Reaction: PhotoFest" at Anya Tish Gallery in Texas, USA. The works were inspired by literature and poetry, especially the writings of Rumi, Mahmoud Darwish and the Gilgamesh Epic.
2019 - 2020 He participated in making a video art in the exhibition "Creatures of Imagination - Contemporary Arab Ceramics Exhibition" at the Jordan Museum of Art, with the participation of forty Arab artists from different Arab countries in Amman.
2020 He participated in the exhibition "Theater of Operations: The Gulf Wars 1991-2011" at the MOMA PS1 Museum in New York, USA.
He lives between Houston, Texas, USA and Amman, Jordan and works full time in his studio in Amman, Jordan.

2006 اشترك في معرض "كلمة في الفن" في المتحف البريطاني في لندن، المملكة المتحدة.
2008 سافر ليعيش في هيوستن، تكساس واشترك في معرض "فنانون عراقيون في المنفى" في متحف المحطة للفن المعاصر في هيوستن.
2009 اشترك في معرض "الحداثة والعراق" في كَاليري والاش للفنون في جامعة كولومبيا.
2010 أقام معرضاً شخصياً بعنوان "أغنية مطر" في متحف كلية جونياتا للفنون في بنسلفانيا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وفي كَاليري FA في الكويت ومعرضاً شخصياً مع سيمين فرحات بعنوان "كلمة، شيء، حركة" في كَاليري أنيا تيش في تكساس، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
2013 أقام معرضاً شخصياً مع سيمين فرحات على قاعة ArtSpace في دبي، الإمارات.
2014 اشترك في معرض بعنوان "رد الفعل الجماعي: فوتو فيست" في كَاليري أنيا تيش في تكساس، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكانت الأعمال مستوحاة من الأدب والشعر، ولا سيما كتابات الرومي ومحمود درويش وملحمة جلجامش.
2019 – 2020 اشترك بعمل فديو آرت في معرض "كائنات المخيال - معرض الخزف العربي المعاصر" في المتحف الأردني للفنون باشتراك أربعين فنان عربي من بلدان عربية مختلفة في عمّان.
2020 اشترك في معرض "مسرح العمليات: حروب الخليج 1991-2011" في متحف MOMA PS1 في نيويورك، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
يسكن بين هيوستن، تكساس، الولايات المتحدة وعمّان، الأردن ويعمل متفرغاً في الاستوديو الخاص به في الأردن.
