1951 - 1961 Completed her elementary, middle, and high school studies in Baghdad schools.
1964 - 1968 Studied and graduated from Baghdad University with a BA in Management and Economics. She also studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and obtained a diploma in the art of drawing.
1971 Held a solo exhibition at Al-Alawiya Club, Baghdad.
1974 Participated in the cultural festival of Al-Thawra newspaper, Baghdad, and the first April Exhibition at the Art Academy hall, Baghdad. She was also appointed as secretary of the General Union of Arab Fine Artists.
1975 Participated in the second April Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1976 Participated in the exhibition of Iraqi women artists, Baghdad.
1979 Participated in the exhibition of Arab women artists, Baghdad.
1980 Participated in the seventh April Exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
She worked as a diplomat in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for more than a decade, was appointed Director of External Relations at the Iraqi News Agency for nine years, and was the Deputy Director General of the Palace of Culture and Arts in Baghdad for five years and Director of the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art.
1987 Participated in an exhibition of selected contemporary Iraqi art on the occasion of the Egyptian-Iraqi Parliamentary Cultural Week, Cairo.
1988 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Paradise Lost’ at the Baghdad Art Gallery, Baghdad.
1989 Held a solo exhibition in Kuwait and participated in an exhibition of ten Iraqi women artists at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1990 Participated in the exhibition of Iraqi women artists, Brazil, and an exhibition by ten women artists entitled ‘The Art of Women: A Panoramic Scene’, Iraq.
1993 Founded and opened the Baghdad Hall for Fine Arts, Baghdad.
1997 Participated in the Sharjah International Biennial for Fine Arts, Sharjah, UAE.
1998 Participated in the Sharjah International Biennial of Fine Arts, Sharjah, UAE, an exhibition at Al-Mahres Gallery for Fine Arts, an exhibition at the Al-Riwaq Art Gallery, Tunis, the Seventh Cairo Biennial of Fine Arts, Egypt, and an exhibition of Iraqi fine artists at the Arts Center, Baghdad. She established the Baghdad Salon for Culture, Art, and Criticism in Baghdad Hall and was appointed as Interior Designer and Director of Quality and Aesthetics in Tunis.
1999 Participated in an exhibition of ten women artists at the Arts Center in Baghdad, the ‘Art for Humanity’ exhibition at the International Red Cross, Baghdad, and the Sharjah International Biennial of Fine Arts, Sharjah, UAE.
2000 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Paradise Regained’ in Nathar Gallery, Hammamet, Tunisia. She participated in the exhibition ‘The Significance of Modernization and Experimentation in Contemporary Iraqi Art’ at the Baghdad Hall, an exhibition for Arab women artists entitled ‘Arab Eyes’, Sharjah, the International Exhibition of Fine Art ‘A Global Vision’ at the Women’s Forum, Sharjah, and an exhibition of Iraqi women artists entitled ‘Hope and Creativity’ at the United Nations UNDP, Baghdad.
2001 Participated in Art Day at Baghdad Hall and the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition, China.
2002 Participated in the Baghdad International Festival for Fine Arts and a joint exhibition with the artist Shaddad Abdulqahhar at the Baghdad Hall of Art, Baghdad.
2005 Founded and opened the Baghdad Cultural Salon, Amman, Jordan.
2008 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Paradise Lost’ for graphic art, Katrineholm, Sweden, and participated in an exhibition with a group of Swedish artists, Katrineholm, where she was appointed as the director of Gallery Kunst Magazin for one year.
2009 Participated in an exhibition entitled ‘Against War: On the Topic of War and Peace’, Katrineholm.
2010 Participated in the International Festival of Art and Science, Patras, Greece, and the Wasiti Festival for International Fine Art, Baghdad.
2013 Participated in the contemporary Iraqi art exhibition entitled ‘We Color Baghdad with Love and Peace’ at the Baghdad Forum for Fine Arts, Baghdad.
2020 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Silence: Colored’ at Nanar Gallery, Malmö, Sweden.
She still lives with her family, devoted to her art, between Sweden, Baghdad, and Amman.

1944 وُلدت الفنانة سميرة عبد الوهاب في العاصمة بغداد، العراق.
1961-1951 أكملت دراستها الإبتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في مدارس بغداد.
1968-1964 درست وتخرجت من جامعة بغداد وحازت على بكالوريوس إدارة واقتصاد. ودرست وتخرجت من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد وحازت على دبلوم فن الرسم.
1971 أقامت معرض شخصي في نادي العلوية في بغداد.
1974 اشتركت في المهرجان الثقافي لجريدة الثورة في بغداد ومعرض نيسان الأول على قاعة اكاديمية الفنون في بغداد. عُينت كسكرتيرة الإتحاد العام للفنانين التشكيليين العرب.
1975 اشتركت في معرض نيسان الثاني في المتحف العراقي للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1967 اشتركت في معرض الفنانات العراقيات في بغداد.
1979 اشتركت معرض الفنانات العربيات في بغداد.
1980 اشتركت في معرض نيسان السابع على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد. عملت كدبلوماسية في وزارة الخارجية العراقية لأكثر من عشر سنوات وعُينت مديرة العلاقات الخارجية في وكالة الأنباء العراقية لمدة تسع سنوات وكانت نائبة المدير العام لقصر الثقافة والفنون في بغداد لمدة خمس سنوات ومديرة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث.
1987 اشتركت في معرض مختارات من الفن العراقي المعاصر بمناسبة الأسبوع الثقافي البرلماني المصري العراقي في القاهرة.
1988 أقامت معرض شخصي بعنوان “الفردوس المفقود" على قاعة بغداد للفنون في بغداد.
1989 أقامت معرض شخصي في الكويت واشتركت في معرض لعشر فنانات عراقيات في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1990 اشتركت في معرض الفنانات العراقيات في البرازيل ومعرض لعشرة فنانات بعنوان "فن المرأة... مشهد بانورامي" في العراق.
1993 أسست وافتتحت قاعة بغداد للفنون التشكيلية في بغداد.
1997 اشتركت في بينالي الشارقة العالمي للفنون التشكيلية في الشارقة في الإمارات.
1998 اشتركت في بينالي الشارقة العالمي للفنون التشكيلية في الشارقة في الإمارات ومعرض المحرس للفنون التشكيلية ومعرض على صالة رواق الفنون في تونس وبينالي القاهرة السابع للفنون التشكيلية في مصر ومعرض للفنانات التشكيليات العراقيات في مركز صدام للفنون في بغداد. أنشأت صالون بغداد للثقافة والفن والنقد في قاعة بغداد وتم تعيينها كمهندسة ديكور ومديرة النوعية والجماليات في تونس.
1999 اشتركت في معرض لعشر فنانات في مركز صدام للفنون في بغداد ومعرض الفن للإنسانية في منظمة الصليب الأحمر الدولية في بغداد وبينالي الشارقة العالمي للفنون التشكيلية في الشارقة في الإمارات.
2000 أقامت معرض شخصي بعنوان "الفردوس المستعاد" في كاليري نظر في الحمامات في تونس. واشتركت في معرض "دلالة التحديث والتجريب في الفن العراقي المعاصر" على قاعة بغداد ومعرض للفنانات العربيات بعنوان "عيون عربية" في الشارقة والمعرض العالمي للفن التشكيلي "رؤية عالمية" في منتدى المرأة في الشارقة في الإمارات ومعرض لفنانات عراقيات بعنوان "الأمل والإبداع" في منظمة الأمم المتحدة UNDP في بغداد.
2001 اشتركت في يوم الفن على قاعة بغداد ومعرض الفن العراقي المعاصر في الصين.
2002 اشتركت في مهرجان بغداد العالمي للفنون التشكيلية ومعرض مشترك مع الفنان شداد عبد القهار على قاعة بغداد للفنون في بغداد.
2005 أسست وافتتحت صالون بغداد الثقافي في عمان في الأردن.
2008 أقامت معرض شخصي بعنوان "الفردوس المفقود" لفن الكرافيك في مدينة كاترينا هولم في السويد واشتركت في معرض مع مجموعة من الفنانين السويديين في مدينة كاترينا هولم في السويد حيث تم تعيينها كمديرة لكاليري كونست مكازين لمدة عام واحد.
2009 اشتركت في معرض بعنوان "ضد الحرب - حول موضوعة الحرب والسلام" في مدينة كاترينا هولم في السويد.
2010 اشتركت في المهرجان العالمي للفن والعلوم في بتراس في اليونان ومهرجان الواسطي للفن التشكيلي العالمي في بغداد.
2013 اشتركت في معرض الفن العراقي المعاصر بعنوان "نلون بغداد محبة وسلاماً" في ملتقى بغداد للفنون التشكيلية في بغداد.
2020 أقامت معرض شخصي بعنوان "السكون.. ملون" في كاليري ننار في مدينة مالمو في السويد.
لازالت تعيش مع عائلتها متفرغة لفنها بين السويد وبغداد وعمّان.
