1932 Artist Eidan Al-Sheikhli was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1956 He participated in the Art Exhibition at the Mansour Club in Baghdad while he was a student in the IFAB.
1957 He studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1961 He traveled to England on a scholarship to study sculpture and casting at the Chelsea College of Arts and then at the Central School of Art and Design-London. For a year and a half, he worked as a technical assistant at the Fiorini and Carney workshops on casting bronze statues.
1964 He participated in the exhibition of The Royal Academy in London and the exhibition of the Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education.
1965 He did bronze casting at the Central College of Art and Design in London (1896-1989). Then, in the same year, he completed his studies in the art of carving and woodcarving at the Stockwell and Waterloo Center in England. Then, he participated in the Royal Academy Gallery in London and the Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education, and he completed his fellowship.
1966 He participated in the exhibition of Education Association through Art under the supervision of the British Ministry of Education. Then, he participated in the exhibition of the British Artists Association. Then, the Exhibition of Free Directions in Modern Art. Then, the International Amateur Exhibition in London. After his return to Baghdad, he participated in the exhibition of the Iraqi Artists Association in Baghdad and held a solo exhibition in the Aya Gallery in Baghdad.
1967 He participated in the exhibition of the Iraqi Artists Association in Baghdad. He began, with the pioneers of sculpture, by establishing the sculpture branch at the Academy of Fine Arts and was among the teaching staff, among distinguished sculpture professors known for their experiences and creativity.
1968 He held a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1969 He held his solo exhibition in the hall of the Iraqi Red Cross Society, in the Women's Branch, on October 30th, where he presented more than two hundred sculptural art pieces in his modernist style, in which the Iraqi folklore inspired him with different materials from cut tin, different types of stones, silver, and ornaments.
1971 He held a solo exhibition at the Hall of the National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1973 He participated in the fifteenth exhibition of the Fine Artists Association at the Assembly Hall in Baghdad.
1974 He participated in the cultural festival of Al-Thawra Newspaper in Baghdad and in the first April Art exhibition at the Art Academy Hall in Baghdad.
1976 He participated in the third April Art Exhibition at the hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad hall.
1980 He participated in the seventh April Exhibition at the hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1981 He held a solo exhibition in Al-Riwaq Hall, from which three works were allocated to be displayed in the Baghdad International Fair (1988 Baghdad Biennial). The same year, he participated in a group exhibition, "Exhibition of Contemporary Sculpture in Rome," with works by Jewad Selim, Ismail Fattah, Khaled Al-Rahhal, Ali Al-Jabri, Mohammad Ghani Hikmat, and others.
21.Oct.2005 the artist passed away, and he avoided the media and did not like to appear despite his artistic and academic activities that left an important imprint in the history of Iraqi sculpture.
2016 Some of his works were exhibited in the Iraqi Painters Exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association, in cooperation with the Lebanese Artists Association for Painting and Sculpture in Beirut.
He was a member of the Iraqi Artists Association.

1956 اشترك في معرض الرسم والنحت في نادي المنصور في بغداد.
1957 درس وتخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد.
1961 سافر الى انكلترا في بعثة لدراسة فن النحت والصب في "مدرسة تشلسي للفنون" وبعدها في "المدرسة المركزية للفنون". وعمل كمساعد فني في معمل فيوريني وكارني لصب التماثيل البرونزية لمدة عام ونصف.
1964 اشترك في معرض "الأكاديمية الملكية في لندن"، ومعرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن" بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية.
1965 صب البرونز في الكلية المركزية للفنون والتصميم في لندن (1896-1989). ثم في نفس العام أكمل متطلبات دراسته في فن النحت والحفر على الخشب في مركز ستوكول وواترلو في إنكلترا، واشترك في معرض الاكاديمية الملكية في لندن، ومعرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن"، بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية. وأنهى بعثته العلمية بنجاح.
1966 اشترك في معرض "جمعية التثقيف بواسطة الفن" بإشراف من وزارة المعارف البريطانية ومعرض جمعية الفنانين الانكليز ومعرض الاتجاهات الحرة في الفن الحديث ومعرض الهواة العالمي في لندن واشترك بعد رجوعه الى بغداد في معرض جمعية الفنانين العراقيين في بغداد واقام معرض شخصي في كاليري أيا في بغداد.
1967 اشترك في معرض جمعية الفنانين العراقيين في بغداد. وبدأ مع رواد النحت بتأسيس فرع النحت في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة وكان ضمن الهيئة التدريسية ومن أساتذة النحت المميزين والمعروفين بعمق خبراتهم وإبداعاتهم.
1968 اقام معرض شخصي في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1969 اقام معرضه الشخصي في قاعة جمعية الهلال الأحمر العراقية الفرع النسوي في 30. تشرين الأول حيث قدم أكثر من مئتي قطعة نحتية فنية بأسلوبه الحداثي، والذي أستلهم فيها الموروث الشعبي العراقي بمواد مختلفة من الصفيح المقطع وأنواع الأحجار والفضة والحلي.
1971 اقام معرض شخصي على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1973 اشترك في معرض جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين الخامس عشر على قاعة الجمعية في بغداد.
1974 اشترك في المهرجان الثقافي لجريدة الثورة في بغداد واشترك في معرض نيسان الاول على قاعة اكاديمية الفنون في بغداد.
1976 اشترك في معرض نيسان الثالث على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1980 اشترك في معرض نيسان السابع على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث في بغداد.
1981 معرض شخصي في قاعة الرواق حيث خصصت منه ثلاثة أعمال لتعرض في معرض بغداد الدولي (بينالي بغداد 1988). وفي نفس العام اشترك في معرض جماعي " معرض النحت المعاصر في روما" مع أعمال ل جواد سليم واسماعيل فتاح وخالد الرحال وعلي الجابري ومحمد غني حكمت وغيرهم.
2005 توفي الفنان، وكان يتجنب الاعلام ولا يحب الظهور على الرغم من نشاطاته الفنية والأكاديمية التي تركت بصمة مهمة في تاريخ النحت العراقي.
2016 عرضت بعض من أعماله في معرض رسامون عراقيون لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين وبالتعاون مع جمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين للرسم والنحت في بيروت.
