Amidst the distinguished presence of HE, the Ambassador of Great Britain, HE, the Ambassador of Australia, HE, the Ambassador of Italy and HE, the Ambassador of Spain, Mme. Maysoon Al-Damluji, representatives from the United Nations and European Union in Baghdad, and some friends, Iraqi academics, critics, and artists, the Ibrahimi Collection held a brief ceremony in Iwan - Link Art Space in Baghdad to sign the collection’s book in English, issued by Skira Publishing House in Milan, where dialogues took place that addressed multiple issues in art and culture. Through it, our goal was to introduce the enterprise’s role in disseminating Iraqi art, enhancing its position in artistic and cultural circles in the region and the world, and open discussions about possible ways of cooperation with these parties in this field.
The ceremony began with a tour of the collection’s exhibition spaces, during which the attendees were introduced to the most important creations of Iraqi art, represented by examples of the works of pioneering modern and contemporary artists. Then, a presentation was given about the Ibrahimi Collection and the Iwan - Link Art Space, followed by a presentation about the book, and copies were signed and presented to the attendees.
