• 1989 The artist was born in Baghdad. • He completed his university studies in Baghdad and obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science - University of Baghdad. • A poet, artist, and journalist, considered one of the poets of the post-2003 generation. • He has several publications such: Manfael (2008), My Fingers Talk, Your Body is Listening (2010), Cancer (2013), The Book of the Two Books (2020), Thank you, keep the rest (2022), Dragging his life on the highway (2023), and Signs and Marks (2024), and others. • A large number of his poems were translated and included in anthologies of Arabic poetry in general and Iraqi poetry. • He has been working in the media since 2006, and has several manuscripts in print on political and literary writing. • 2018 was his first experience in drawing, as the poetic text began to turn into drawing, and the drawn work into colored writing. • He started from the Iraqi sketching school, inspired by the artist-teacher (Shaker Hassan Al Said), his greatest idol. Most of the visual texts he worked were belonged to mono sketches, but they also included additional materials, such as gouache, acrylic, and colored inks.
