1964 was born in Baghdad - Iraq
He studied printmaking at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
He drew covers and pages for “Majalati” magazine for children with several scenarios and poems. The Children’s Culture House published several books for him during the eighties and nineties.
1992 He traveled to Amman-Jordan, where he held his first four solo exhibitions.
In 2004, he traveled with his family to New Zealand to settle there, where he has been studying and pursuing his artistic career.
He obtained a Master’s and Diploma of fine arts from Elam University in Auckland.
In 2005, he was nominated as a finalist for the James Wallace Art Award.
2005 "My City" a solo exhibition at the Judith Anderson Gallery.
2006 “Transplant” a solo exhibition at the Edmiston Duke Gallery.
2007 "Urbs" a solo exhibition at the City Art Rooms.
He participated in many exhibitions internationally and in New Zealand. He currently lives & work in Auckland in north New Zealand.
