Still, he was also impressed and influenced by Impressionism and the transparency of color and shape through the work of Gauguin, Van Gogh, Manet, Paul Cezanne, and Matisse and strove to combine the style of the Baghdad School and Impressionism and its origins.
- He was impressed with the expressive lines and colors. Since his youth, he had been looking forward to the paintings of Monet and Lautrec. He had a particular passion and charm for Modigliani's works.
- Ardash worked with different methods and techniques. The artist practiced many artistic mediums, including printing and engraving on wood and lithography, where he performed professional graphic works. He participated with many poets, including the poet Adonis, in issuing the book (Ararat) texts by Adonis and the lithography of Ardash. He contributed by painting many French poetry books. His graphic work is an important experiment, in which he paired, with his concerns, using the symbol and the expressionist style in drawing sharp lines expressing a memory saturated with pain, nostalgia, and internal violent conflict.

- 1971 Won the Dom World Award and the 1st Prize from the Salon d’Automne in Paris.

- November 30, 1987 to January 07, 1988 Held a Solo Exhibition at Al-Orfali Gallery in Baghdad, where 25 lithographs were displayed.
- 2000 Passed away in Paris at fifty-nine and asked that his body be cremated after his death, and the remains of its ashes be scattered in the Tigris River.
