1965 - 1977 Completed his primary, middle, and secondary school studies in Baghdad.
1977 - 1981 Studied and graduated from the College of Science at the University of Baghdad, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences - Hydrology, and worked as a teaching assistant at the same college.
1978 Held his first solo exhibition in the Impressionists' studio at the College of Science at the University of Baghdad.
1980 Held his second solo exhibition at Kuwait University.
1984 Held his third solo exhibition at Al-Wasiti Gallery, Baghdad.
1988 Worked as a teaching assistant at the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad.
1992 Received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing from the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1996 Obtained a master's degree in fine arts from Baghdad University and held his fourth solo exhibition entitled ‘The Epic of Gilgamesh’ at the Academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad.
2003 Obtained a PhD in Philosophy of Fine Arts from the University of Baghdad.
2003 - 2007 Headed the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.
2004 - 2011 Appointed Director of the Arts Consulting Office at the University of Baghdad.
2008 Headed the Fine Arts Department at Baghdad University.
2008 Participated in the tenth scientific conference of the Academy of Fine Arts and chaired the preparatory committee for the conference.
2009 Obtained the title of Professor in the fine arts.
2009 Held his 5th solo exhibition ‘The Rise from the Ashes’, Baghdad.
2010 Designed and supervised the implementation of the Graphic Design Laboratory in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.
2011 Appointed as Assistant to the Dean for Administrative Affairs.
2014 - 2017 Headed the Design Department and established professional halls equipped with contemporary design and digital technology at Baghdad University.
2016 Participated in the retrospective annual exhibition at the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad.
2018 Participated in the 12th Al-Wasiti Festival for Fine Art, Baghdad.
2019 Participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad.
2020 Participated in the virtual exhibition ‘Art, the Common Language of People’.
He supervised many master's and doctoral theses.
He has many publications in addition to critical and aesthetic articles and research published in magazines, digital newspapers, and academic research sites.
He is currently a professor at the College of Fine Arts in Baghdad.

- 1958 وُلد الفنان في العاصمة بغداد، العراق. - 1977 - 1965 أكمل دراسته الابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في بغداد. - 1977 – 1981 درس وتخرج من كلية العلوم في جامعة بغداد وحاز على شهادة البكالوريوس في علوم الجيولوجيا "هيدرولوجيا" وعمل معيداً في الكلية. - 1978 أقام معرضه الشخصي الأول في مرسم الانطباعيين في كلية العلوم في جامعة بغداد. - 1980 أقام معرضه الشخصي الثاني في جامعة الكويت. - 1984 أقام معرضه الشخصي الثالث على قاعة الواسطي، بغداد. - 1988 عمل معيداً في كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة بغداد. - 1992 حصل على بكالوريوس فنون تشكيلية في الرسم من أكاديميةِ الفنون الجميلةِ في بغداد. - 1996 حصل على شهادة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة من جامعة بغداد وأقام معرضه الشخصي الرابع بعنوان "ملحمة كلكامش" في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة، بغداد. - 2003 حاز على شهادة الدكتوراه في فلسفة الفنون التشكيلية من جامعة بغداد. - 2003 – 2007 ترأس قسم الرسم في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد. - 2004 – 2011 تم تعيينه مدير المكتب الاستشاري للفنون في جامعة بغداد. - 2008 ترأس قسم الفنون التشكيليِة في كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة بغداد. - 2008 اشترك في المؤتمر العلمي العاشر لأكاديمية الفنون الجميلة وترأس اللجنة التحضيرية للمؤتمر. - 2009 حصل على لقب أستاذ في الفنون الجميلة. - 2009 أقام معرضه الشخصي الخامس "النهوض من الرماد" في بغداد. - 2010 صمم وأشرف على تنفيذ مختبر التصميم الكرافيكي في قسم الفنون التشكيلية في جامعة بغداد. - 2011 تم تعيينه معاوناً للعميد للشؤون الإدارية. - 2014 – 2017 ترأس قسم التصميم وأنشأ قاعات احترافية مزودة بالتكنولوجيا الرقمية التصميمية المعاصرة في جامعة بغداد. - 2016 اشترك في المعرض السنوي الشامل في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين، بغداد. - 2018 اشترك في مهرجان الواسطي الـ 12 للفن التشكيلي، بغداد. - 2019 اشترك في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين، بغداد. - 2020 اشترك في المعرض الافتراضي "الفن لغة الشعوب المشتركة". - أشرف على العديد من رسائل الماجستير وأطاريح الدكتوراه. - له العديد من المؤلفات، إضافةً إلى البحوث والمقالات النقدية والجمالية المنشورة في المجلات والصحف الورقية والرقمية ومواقع البحث الأكاديمي. - يعمل حالياً أستاذاً في كلية الفنون الجميلة، بغداد. - عضو في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين. - عضو في نقابة الفنانين العراقيين. - عضو في الرابطة الدولية للفنانين التشكيليين العالميين. - عضو في منظمة تراي الثقافية العالمية في نيويورك. - عضو مؤسس لمركز حوار للدراسات الدولية والإستراتيجية.
