1941 Born into an artistic family in Baghdad, Iraq.
1948 - 1958 Completed her primary, middle, and high school studies in Baghdad, Iraq.
1963 - 1967 Studied the art of ceramics at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a BA. Then she studied and obtained a diploma from Italy.
After her return from Italy, she was assigned to teach the art of ceramics at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad.
1970 Participated in the Leipzig International Fair, Germany.
1971 Held her 1st solo exhibition, Kirkuk, and participated in the exhibition of contemporary Iraqi art in cooperation with the Iraqi Artists Association, Kuwait, and the exhibition of contemporary Iraqi art at the Media Club, Baghdad.
1973 Participated in the Retrospective Iraqi Art exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1974 Participated in the 1st Arab Biennial exhibition of the Ministry of Information, Baghdad.
1976 Participated in the 3rd April exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1978 Participated in the 5th April exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad, and the exhibition of Contemporary Iraqi Ceramics at the Iraqi Cultural Center in London, United Kingdom.
1979 Participated in the exhibition of Contemporary Iraqi Ceramics at the Arab Cultural Center, Damascus, Syria.
1980 Participated in the 7th April exhibition at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad, and the 1st exhibition of the Group 17 of Modern Art at the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art, Baghdad.
1994 Passed away at fifty-three years old due to an asthma attack.

1941 وُلدت الخزافة العراقية سهام السعودي لعائلة فنية في بغداد، العراق.
1948 – 1958 أكملت دراسته الابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في بغداد، العراق.
1963 – 1967 درست فن الخزف في اكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد وحازت على شهادة البكالوريوس. ثم درست وحازت على شهادة الدبلوم من إيطاليا.
بعد رجوعها من إيطاليا، عملت في مجال التدريس لتدرس فن الخزف في معهد الفنون الجميلة، بغداد.
1970 اشتركت في معرض لايبزيك الدولي في المانيا.
1971 اقامت معرضها الشخصي الأول في كركوك واشتركت في معرض الفن العراقي المعاصر بالتعاون جمعية الفنانين العراقيين، الكويت ومعرض الفن العراقي المعاصر لنادي الاعلام، بغداد.
1973 اشتركت في معرض الفن العراقي الشامل على قاعة المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث، بغداد.
1974 اشتركت في معرض السنتين العربي الاول لوزارة الاعلام، بغداد.
1976 اشتركت في معرض نيسان الثالث في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث، بغداد.
1978 اشتركت في معرض نيسان الخامس في المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث، بغداد ومعرض السيراميك العراقي المعاصر في المركز الثقافي العراقي في لندن، المملكة المتحدة.
1979 اشتركت في معرض الخزف العراقي المعاصر على قاعة المركز الثقافي العربي في دمشق، سوريا.
