She honed her painting skills in the Faculty of Arts studio under the guidance of pioneering artist Hafidh Al-Droubi since the 1950s. She actively participated in the college's annual exhibitions and was a recipient of numerous awards.
1953-1962 Joined the Impressionists Group founded by the artist Hafidh Al-Droubi in the studio of the Faculty of Arts at the time and participated in all the exhibitions of the group.
1954 Graduated from the College of Arts, University of Baghdad, with a major in Sociology.
She worked at the School of Music and Ballet, Ministry of Culture and Information.
She worked as a translator in the Artistic Documentation Division in the Fine Arts Department, Ministry of Culture and Information, Baghdad.
She worked as a director for two Government galleries, the Gulbenkian Hall and the Al-Riwaq Gallery in Baghdad.

1983 Held her third solo exhibition of watercolor paintings at the Meridian Hotel Hall, Baghdad.
1984 Held her fourth solo exhibition, “Gardens of Water and Light,” at Al-Riwaq Gallery, Baghdad.
April 1987 Held her fifth solo exhibition, “Nature Paints Itself,” at Al-Riwaq Gallery, Baghdad.
December 1989 Held her sixth solo exhibition, “Fountains of the Rose Gardens,” at Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
Held her seventh solo exhibition in Baghdad.
October 13, 2000 Held her eighth solo exhibition, “Pause with Nature,” in Al-Droubi Gallery, Baghdad.
She participated in most of the art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq.
The artist lives in the USA and works from her studio.

1926 وُلدت الفنانة في بغداد – العراق.
مارست الرسم في مرسم كلية الآداب منذ الخمسينات تحت إشراف الفنان الرائد حافظ الدروبي، وشاركت في معارض الكلية السنوية وحصلت على جوائز عديدة.
1953 انضمت إلى جماعة الانطباعين التي أسسها الفنان حافظ الدروبي في مرسم كلية الآداب في حينها.
1954 تخرجت من كلية الآداب / جامعة بغداد - فرع الاجتماع.
شاركت في معارض جماعة الانطباعين منذ معرضها الأول حتى معرضها في عام 1962.
عملت في مدرسة الموسيقى والبالية / وزارة الثقافة والإعلام.
عملت مترجمة في قسم التوثيق الفني في دائرة الفنون التشكيلية وزارة الثقافة والإعلام.
عملت مديرة قاعة كولبنكيان وبعدها عملت كمديرة لقاعة الرواق الحكوميتين.
شارکت في أغلب المعارض الفنية داخل العراق وخارجه خلال النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين.
1981 في كانون أول أقامت معرضها الشخصي الأول (الطبيعة ينبوع وربيع أخضر) على قاعة الرواق-بغداد.
