1951 - 1961 Completed his primary, middle, and high school studies in Iraq.
1961 - 1968 Moved to Baghdad and worked with many calligraphers and began visiting art galleries that made him interested in studying art, but due to political circumstances, he was unable to study.
1969 Left Iraq and traveled to Paris to study at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris (Beaux-Arts) and studied and worked on figurative art. To be able to pay for school, he worked as a calligrapher for a number of Arabic magazines.
1972 With the actor Guy Jacquet, he created a show called ‘Arabesque’, and after several years, the musician Fawzy Al-Aiedy joined them as well. The show combined music, poetry, and calligraphy, which was shown on a large screen behind the performers, and their performances were done for thirteen years throughout France and Europe.

1944 وُلد الفنان حسن المسعود في مدينة النجف في الفرات الأوسط-العراق.
1951 – 1961 أكمل دراسته الابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في العراق.
1961-1968 انتقل الى بغداد وعمل مع العديد من الخطاطين وبدأ يزور المعارض الفنية التي جعلته يهتم بدراسة الفن ولكن بسبب الظروف السياسية، لم يتمكن من الدراسة.
1969 ترك العراق وسافر الى باريس ليدرس في المدرسة الوطنية للفنون الجميلة "البوزار" ودرس وعمل على الفن التشخيصي. وليتمكن من دفع تكاليف المدرسة أشتغل كخطاط لدى عدد من المجلات العربية.
1972 ابتكر مع الممثل جاي جاكيه عرض اسمياه "أرابيسك" وبعد عدة سنوات، انضم إليهم ايضاً الموسيقار فوزي العايدي. كان العرض يجمع بين الموسيقى والشعر وفن الخط الذي يعرض على شاشة كبيرة خلف المؤدين وأستمرت عروضهم لمدة ثلاثة عشر عاماً تقام في كافة أنحاء فرنسا وأوروبا.
