1989 Awarded a medal and a certificate of appreciation from the Iraqi Artists Association and participated in the exhibition of contemporary Iraqi art in Aden and Sanaa, Yemen.

1998 Held a solo exhibition at Dijlah Hall, Baghdad, and participated in the Babylon International Festival, winning the first prize in painting.
1999 Left Iraq and traveled to Jordan to live in Amman. He held a solo exhibition at Dar Al Anda, Amman, Jordan.
2000 Participated in the ‘Black and White’ exhibition at Dar Al-Anda, Amman.
2001 Held a solo exhibition at Dar Al-Anda, Amman.
2002 Held a solo exhibition at Al-Orfali Gallery, Amman.
2004 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Clay Obelisks’ at Al-Orfali Gallery, Amman, and another solo exhibition at Uhood Gallery, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
2007 Held a solo exhibition at Ahood Gallery, Riyadh, and another one at Dar Al-Anda, Amman. He also participated in the exhibition ‘Lorca and Al-Bayati’ at Al-Orfali Gallery, Amman.

2009 Left Jordan and traveled to Canada to live and work there.
