1945 وُلد الفنان حسن عبد علوان في مدينة الناصرية في محافظة ذي قار في العراق.
1952 - 1962 أكمل دراسته المدرسية للابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في مدينة الناصرية.

2013 اشترك في معرض "فضاءات عراقية - المعرض التشكيلي السنوي المشترك" في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.

9 نوفمبر 2013 تُوفي الفنان عن عمر يناهز الثمانية وستون عاماً.
تم عرض اعماله في معرض "رسامون عراقيون" لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين وجمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين للرسم والنحت في بيروت.
