1930 Artist Abdulqader Al-Obaidi was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq, and lived in Al-Adhamiya. He is known for drawing landscapes, old houses, animals and people.
1952 He worked in the Agricultural Bank until 1960.
1975 He studied in the evening at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad and graduated from it. The artist was influenced by Impressionist art, especially the works of the artist Faik Hassan and artist Abdulqader Al-Rassam.
1980 He worked in the Directorate of Fine Arts in the Iraqi Ministry of Culture.
1985 He retired and concentrated on his art.
He held and participated in several exhibitions inside Iraq.
2017 held a solo exhibition at the Hall of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture in Baghdad.

1930 ولد الفنان عبد القادر العبيدي في العاصمة بغداد في العراق وعاش في منطقة الأعظمية وهو معروف برسمه المناظر الطبيعية والبيوت القديمة والحيوانات والاشخاص

1975 درس في القسم المسائي وتخرج من معهد الفنون الجميلة في بغداد وتأثر الفنان بالفن الانطباعي وبالأخص أعمال الفنان فائق حسن والفنان عبد القادر الرسام
1980 عمل في مديرية الفنون التشكيلية في وزارة الثقافة العراقية
1985 تم احالته على التقاعد
اقام واشترك في عدة معارض داخل العراق
2017 اقامت له وزارة الثقافة العراقية في قاعتها معرضا شخصيا تكريميا في بغداد
