1961 - 1971 Completed his primary, intermediate, and secondary school studies in Mosul.
1972 - 1976 Studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
1977 Participated in the Eleventh Spring Festival, Nineveh, and won the second prize.
1978 Held his first solo exhibition at the Public Culture Center, Nineveh, and participated in the 12th Nineveh Spring Festival, winning third prize. He also won third prize in the Nineveh Compulsory Literacy Competition.
1984 Participated in the National Spring Festival and won first prize.
1994 Held solo exhibitions in Nineveh, Baghdad, and Amman, Jordan.
1995 Held solo exhibitions in Nineveh, Baghdad, and Amman.
1996 Held solo exhibitions at the Hammurabi Hall in Nineveh, Baghdad, and Amman.
1997 Held solo exhibitions at the Hammurabi Hall in Nineveh, Baghdad, and Amman.
1998 Held a solo exhibition at the Buran Hall, Amman, and participated in the Buran Hall's inaugural exhibition.
1999 Held a solo exhibition at the Greater Amman Municipality building, Amman, and participated in the ‘Humanity Across the Millennium’ exhibition at the Arts Center. He won third prize from the International Red Cross, participated in the Fine Arts Exhibition, Tunisia, and exhibited at the 8th Fine Arts Exhibition at the Shahin Gallery, Beirut, Lebanon, as well as at the Paris Municipality exhibition under the auspices of the United Nations.
2000 Held a solo exhibition at the Bendak Gallery, Amman, participated in an exhibition with another artist at the Al-Mizan Gallery, Baghdad, and exhibited at the 9th Fine Arts Exhibition at the Shahin Gallery, Beirut, and the Baghdad International Fine Arts Festival.
2004 Co-founded the ‘Nineveh Fine Arts Group’ with other artists
2005 Obtained a Master's degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, headed the Iraqi Artists Association in Nineveh Governorate, and held a solo exhibition at the City Hall, Amman.
2006 Held a solo exhibition titled ‘Songs for the Homeland’ at the Darbuna Gallery in the Continental Hotel, Amman, and won the Human Rights Award, Nineveh Governorate.
2009 Held a solo exhibition at the Bendak Gallery, Amman, participated in the Gaza Festival at the Royal Cultural Center, Amman, and founded the ‘Watercolor Painters Group’.
2010 Received his PhD in Graphic Design from the Graphic Arts Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University, Syria. He also held a solo exhibition titled ‘Iraqi Colors’, Berlin, Germany.
2011 Participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition for Iraqi Artists, members of the Jordanian Artists Association, Amman.
2012 Held a solo exhibition at the Bendak Gallery, Amman, and another solo exhibition in the main hall of the University of Mosul, commemorating its 45th anniversary.
2013 Held a solo exhibition at the Bendak Gallery, Amman, and participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Baghdad Fine Arts Forum, ‘We Color Baghdad with Love and Peace’, at the Department of Fine Arts, Baghdad.
2014 Held a solo exhibition at the Arab Cultural Institute, Berlin, and participated in the Fine Arts Festival commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Communist Party at the Dialogue Art Gallery, Baghdad.
2015 Participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad.
2016 Held a solo exhibition at the German-Arab Institute and the Kreuzberg Cultural Center, Berlin, and participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad, and the International Watercolor Festival in Iraq, Pakistan, and Italy.
2017 Participated in the first annual exhibition of the International Watercolor Society, Iraq Branch, entitled ‘Coloring Life with Love and Peace’, at the Babylon Tower Gallery, Baghdad, and the International Watercolor Festival in Iraq, Pakistan, and Italy.
2018 Held a solo exhibition entitled ‘Migration Within a Homeland’ at the Orfali Gallery, Amman.
2019 Participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad, and the International Watercolor Festival in Iraq, Pakistan, and Italy.
2020 Won an award as one of the top ten watercolor painters in the world at the World Festival in Ankara, Turkey, and received a certificate of appreciation from the Canadian organization ‘Wings of Peace’ during his participation in a global exhibition in Jordan, and a certificate of appreciation for his participation in the global exhibition ‘Artists Without Borders’. He also participated in the exhibition of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association, Baghdad, the World Festival of Watercolor Painters in Iraq, Pakistan, Italy, and the Abdoun Festival, Amman.
He lives in Mosul and works as a professor of fine arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul.

1954 وُلد الفنان خليف محمود المحل في مدينة الموصل في محافظة نينوى، العراق.
1961 - 1971 أكمل دراسته المدرسية للابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية في الموصل.
1972 – 1976 درس وتخرج من اكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد وحاز على شهادة الباكالوريوس في الفنون.
1977 اشترك في مهرجان الربيع الحادي عشر في نينوى وفاز بالجائزة الثانية.
1978 اقام اول معرض شخصي له في دور الثقافة الجماهيرية في نينوى واشترك في مهرجان الربيع الثاني عشر في نينوى وفاز بالجائزة الثالثة ومسابقة محو الأمية الإلزامي في نينوى وفاز بالجائزة الثالثة.
1984 اشترك في مهرجان الربيع القطري وفاز بالجائزة الاولى.
1994 اقام معرض شخصي في نينوى وبغداد وعمان، الاردن.

2000 اقام معرض شخصي في كاليري بندك في عمان واشترك في معرض مع فنان اخر على قاعة الميزان في بغداد والمعرض التشكيلي التاسع في كاليري شاهين في بيروت، لبنان ومهرجان بغداد الدولي للفنون التشكيلية.
2004 أسس مع فنانين اخرين "جماعة نينوى للفن التشكيلي".
2005 حاز على شهادة الماجستير في التصميم الطباعي من اكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة بغداد وترأس جمعية الفنانيين العراقيين في محافظة نينوى واقام معرض شخصي على قاعة المدينة في عمان.
2006 اقام معرض شخصي بعنوان "اغاني للوطن" على قاعة دربونة في فندق الكونتنينتال في عمان وفاز بجائزة حقوق الانسان في محافظة نينوى.
2009 اقام معرض شخصي في كاليري بندك في عمان واشترك في مهرجان غزة في المركز الثقافي الملكي في عمان وأسس "جماعة رسامي الالوان المائية".
2010 حاز على شهادة الدكتوراه في التصميم الطباعي من قسم الكرافيك في كلية الفنون في جامعة دمشق في سوريا واقام معرض شخصي بعنوان "الوان عراقية" في برلين، المانيا.
2011 اشترك في معرض الفن العراقي المعاصر للفنانين العراقيين من اعضاء رابطة الفنانين الاردنيين في عمان.
2012 اقام معرض شخصي في كاليري بندك في عمان ومعرض شخصي بمناسبة تأسيس جامعة الموصل الخامسة واربعين على القاعة الكبرى.
2013 اقام معرض شخصي في كاليري بندك في عمان واشترك في معرض الفن العراقي المعاصر في ملتقى بغداد للفنون التشكيلية "نلون بغداد محبة وسلاما" في دائرة الفنون التشكيلية في بغداد.
2014 اقام معرض شخصي في المعهد الثقافي العربي في برلين واشترك في مهرجان الفن التشكيلي في ذكرى 80 عام لتأسيس الحزب الشيوعي العراقي على قاعة حوار للفنون في بغداد.
2015 اشترك في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد.
2016 اقام معرض شخصي في المعهد الالماني العربي ومركز ثقافة كرويتسبيرك في برلين واشترك في المعرض السنوي الشامل في جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد والمهرجان العالمي لرسامي الالوان المائيه في العراق و الباكستان وايطاليا.
2017 اشترك في المعرض السنوي الاول لجمعية الالوان المائية العالمية فرع العراق "نلون الحياة بالحب والسلام" على قاعة برج بابل في بغداد والمهرجان العالمي لرسامي الالوان المائيه في العراق و الباكستان وايطاليا.
2018 اقام معرض شخصي بعنوان "هجرة داخل وطن" في كاليري الاورفلي في عمان.
2019 اشترك في المعرض السنوي لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد والمهرجان العالمي لرسامي الالوان المائيه في العراق و الباكستان وايطاليا.
2020 فاز بجائزة من أفضل عشرة رسامين بالعالم بالرسم المائي في المهرجان العالمي في انقرا، تركيا وحاز على شهادة تقديرية من منظمة كندية "اجنحة السلام" خلال مشاركته في معرض عالمي في الاردن وشهادة تقديرية لمشاركته في المعرض العالمي "فنانين بلا حدود" وواشترك في معرض جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في بغداد والمهرجان العالمي لرسامي الالوان المائيه في العراق و الباكستان وايطاليا ومهرجان عبدون في عمان.
يسكن في مدينة الموصل ويعمل أستاذاً للفنون التشكيلية في كلية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة الموصل.
